INTRODUCTION, INSTALLATION AND START-UP

2 min read

CouncilARS™ is designed to assist participants in parliamentary voting, city council and county council meetings.

CouncilARS™ offers various voting options including yes/no, yes/no/abstain, single selection from up to 5 options and an attendance check vote. Infowhyse has integrated standard templates in a table layout format that show who voted what and also includes the option for secret and non-roll call voting where the user can see that they voted but not what was voted. All votes, results and important actions taken in CouncilARS™ are automatically logged in a printable text file and an optional PDF

After installation, you will find three shortcuts in your Start menu.

CouncilARS™ Standard: Is the version that uses only voting devices.
CouncilARS™ Hybrid is the version that is necessary if you use both voting devices and (or only) smartphones/tablets/PC’s with BYOPAD in your event (separate licence required).
CouncilARS™ Simulation: This is the trial version if you do not use the voting devices, e.g. if you want to enter, edit and test your motions on a PC without having to set up the voting devices.
